We handle our wines with care – in the vineyard, in the winery, and when we are shipping them to you. But to get the wine in the bottle safely, we need to put it under some pressure.
‘Bottle Shock’ refers to the state of the wine right after we bottle the wine. After it has been bottled, the wine is dull and lacks subtlety – but thankfully, this is just temporary! Within a few months, all the life and subtlety returns entirely.
The wine we have shipped to you needs a little longer to return to its former self. We recommend you keep them for a month or two in a cool, dark place, free from vibration or temperature fluctuations (not on top of your washing machine!).
Once the date on the tag has passed, your wines should be looking just as we intended and can be enjoyed!
