Winemaker's Notes
Grenache is a great solo artist, and also strong enough to happily share the stage. The subtle interplay of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro leaves no second fiddles in this trio. It’s just a matter of fine tuning how much and where.
Bouquet & Palate
Grenache at the front of the parade throwing roses along a path of Shiraz and Mataro all black tar and split stone. Raspberry and gum, strawberries and plums, denim and fennel, black tea and violets. A rolling finish, red black and blue fruited. Seductive rather than subtle.
Food Match
Butter-basted ribeye with crunchy fennel salad, or an Oyster mushroom and leek risotto.
