Is this a Pinot ‘gris’ style or Pinot ‘grigio’ style? The latter, dear reader. We deliberately pick the fruit at the lower end of its range to retain the quintessential crisp, light, fine qualities.
|Winemaker's Notes||I want to be annoyed - there was so little Pinot Grigio on the vine in 2019. But really, with quality this good it’s difficult to stay mad. If the crop was half of what we wanted then at least it can be said that it was twice as good.|
|Drink||Now through 1 year. Savour the fresh bouquet while it’s in its youth|
|Bouquet||Feather light, bright and crisp. Orange blossom, white pear and bananas like a fresh tropical breeze.|
|Palate||Palate as fresh as the perfume, crunchy, lightly textured, intense and lingering. Zippy, zesty; the stuff of Spring.|
|Food Match||If it swims, has fins and scales, and goes glub glub you are onto a winner.|
