Knock, Knock. Who’s there? Chardonnay. Chardonnay who? You know me. I’m THE classic white grape variety and I’m back with renewed popularity.
|Winemaker's Notes||We simply start in the vineyard by selecting the grapes from the best possible site in the most appropriate growing areas for Chardonnay, which is in the Adelaide Hills. The exceptionally fine weather allowed us to fully ripen our Chardonnay to achieve excellent and generous fruit lift.|
|Drink||Now through two years for reliable pleasure.|
|Bouquet||Camomile, citrus blossom, thyme, and vanilla pod. Wafts of time well spent in oak – layered, complex fruit, new oak notes.|
|Palate||Succulent fruit palate, white peach and pear. Pulpy and fresh bright fruit culminates in a lingering finish.|
|Food Match||Baked Rainbow Trout with Lemongrass, steamed Pak Choi and coconut rice.|
|Analysis||TA: 6.6 g/L, pH: 3.37, ALC: 13%|
