The Floozie

When the Hamilton family first produced wines in 1837 life was simple and rosé happened by default, as nature sometimes delivered a big red, and in other seasons a light red – almost a rosé. They took what nature offered them and enjoyed it!

Vegan friendly

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm not usually a big Rose drinker but Floozie has converted me. It is just right for every occasion especially at a BBQ with friends. Thank you for producing such a great drop! - Claire S

Winemaker's Notes

The critical trick to a fine Sangiovese Rose lies in the timing; too early and there’s no flavour, too late and you have made a red wine. This is definitely one that keeps us on our toes and it’s not often that there’s a block more walked during vintage than our Sangiovese. Thankfully it’s worth all the walking!

Bouquet & Palate

Taut with pink lady apples, lime wedges, dried herbs, and strawberries. Peach fuzz and a fine line of fruit. Savoury. Succulent, but not sweet. Both textural and lingering.

Food Match

Delicate flavours match this delicate wine – perhaps a pear, parmesan, and walnut salad?
